Title Insurance protects against legal risks or challenges relating to ownership and/or use of property. These issues are often discovered by a purchaser (or disclosed by a seller) during the pre-purchase due diligence phase. In such instances, we call these issues ‘Known Risks’, as they are known to a buyer and/or seller at the time of sale.

Often mistakenly understood as only covering risks affecting legal title to property (i.e. legal “ownership”), we provided an introduction to Title Insurance. We explained its application in commercial real estate transactions and why it covers more than just title.

CPD points will be issued following the completion of a webinar to all those who registered and logged in under their name.

If you logged in under a different name i.e. one of your colleagues, an automated email will be sent out following the completion of the webinar with a form for each individual to complete and send back in order to receive their CPD points.
